Our day-to-day work is underpinned by a framework of values and principles which prioritise:- The need to ensure that policy and practice will help support the development of services capable of meeting the needs and aspirations of those who use them within a framework of national legislation and guidance and the need to secure value for money
- The acknowledgement that families and individuals are experts in their own circumstances and needs
- Services that reflect a diverse knowledge base which, in addition to research knowledge and evidence includes organisational knowledge, practitioner knowledge, legal knowledge and policy community knowledge
- A commitment to making a difference in both the short-term as well as over a lifetime
Our research is conducted in accordance with the ethical guidelines drawn up by the Social Research Association.
