Synergy's consultants are often asked to give speeches or to provide expert evidence. Here are details of some of our recent and upcoming public activites:March-June 2009
Jane Tunstill and James Blewett are giving a series of presentations in London, Belfast, Perth and Caerphilly on the Synergy research undertaken for Action for Children on targeted family support in a universal setting, including speaking at the "Child Protection: The Lessons from Laming" conference on the 4th June.January 2009
Jane Tunstill was invited to join the task group on childhood within the Marmot Review of Health Inequalities led by Professor Sir Michael Marmot and due to report to the Secretary of State for Health later in 2009.Jane Tunstill was appointed as a lay member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council. She was also appointed chair of the Midwifery Committee.

Pamela Meadows was invited by the City of Toronto and the State of Ontario to give the keynote address at a conference on planning local employment policies.December 2008
Jane Tunstill gave evidence to the House of Commons Select Committee on Children Schools and Families as part of their Inquiry into Looked After Children.Pamela Meadows was invited to join the panel of contributors to the Guardian’s Comment is Free blog.
