Accessibility Statement
Synergy Research and Consulting Ltd is committed to making our website accessible to all visitors.We have designed and written our site to remove accessibility problems for people with disabilities wherever possible and to make information more straightforward for all users to access. All the pages on our site meet the requirements of the "AAA" conformance level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0.
We are also committed to widening access to our work offline. Our offices in Sheen are fully accessible and where different locations are used for meetings or events our policy is only to use other fully accessible premises.
Accessibility features
The key ways in which we make our site accessible are:- Headings, paragraphs, lists and other HTML features are used to create a logical document structure
- Visitors are able to resize all text using the 'font size' setting in visual browsers
- Foreground and backgrounds are sufficiently contrasting to avoid problems for sufferers of colour-blindness, and all colours can be overriden by the user in visual browsers
- Pages are still readable in browsers which do not support Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and there is a link to a plain text version on each page (requires JavaScript)
- Hyperlinks use descriptive and meaningful text, avoiding short-hand language like 'click here'
- Wherever possible content is presented as text, and for any meaningful non-text content (images, etc.) a text alternative is provided.
Access keys
Access key shortcuts are provided to make the site easier to navigate using a keyboard.In most web browsers you can use these shortcuts by pressing
Alt (on a PC) or Ctrl (on a Mac) simultaneously with the appropriate character on the keyboard. If this does not work in your browser, you are advised to consult the brower's help file.
